Phade straws are both home compostable and commercially compostable, and are tested to meet both ASTM 6400 and TUV OK HOME composting standards. Phade straws will break down into compost within 180 days in a commercial facility. This process could take longer in a home composting system depending on conditions. Phade straws will not break down as intended in a landfill.
