Durable and clear in design, these Eco-Products® compostable 32 oz rectangular deli containers with lids are made from green PLA, which is derived from plants. Even though they are as light and strong as traditional plastic, they are Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI®) Certified compostable to compost within 180 days in a commercial composting facility, which may not exist in your area. Our disposable containers are tinted green, freezer-safe, and suitable for cold foods. These compostable containers are great for foods such as green salads, pasta salads, and desserts from deli counters, takeout restaurants, and cafes. With a perfect design for consumers and restaurant owners, these green cold deli containers meet the new labeling requirements for compostable food service products in Washington State and Colorado. Effective in 2024, these laws require certain compostable products to be labeled in ways that make them “readily and easily identifiable” as compostable.
