Are these the same as biodegradable gloves?

These Plastech® food service gloves are certified home and commercially compostable, and should not be considered biodegradable. They are certified compostable to break down in a commercial compost facility or home compost.

Products are packaged in recyclable paperboard and polyolefin plastic wrap. Please recycle all packaging where available. Recycling facilities may not be available in all areas.
