Because they are fiber lids, they can handle hot temperatures much better than clear PLA plastic, making them great for soups, rice dishes, pasta, and more. These home compostable lids are also TUV OK Compost Certified in a commercial compost facility to compost within 180 days, which may not exist in your area.
