    Are NoTree® Hot Cups compostable?
    Yes. World Centric® NoTree® Hot Cups are BPI Certified compostable for commercial/industrial composting. Facilities may not exist in all areas—check locally.
    What are NoTree® Hot Cups made from?
    Tree-free paper made from annually renewable plant fibers with a bio-based lining for heat and moisture resistance.
    Do the fiber lids contain PFAS?
    The World Centric® fiber sip lids we carry are made without added PFAS. See each lid product page for details.
    Can I compost these cups at home?
    No. These are intended for industrial composting. Home composting conditions are not sufficient for proper breakdown.
    Which lids fit which cup sizes?
    Use 8 oz lids for 8 oz cups. Use 10–20 oz lids for 10, 12, 16, and 20 oz cups. Always confirm fit on each product page.
    What sizes are available?
    4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, and 20 oz cups—ideal from espresso samples to large coffees and teas.
    Are they safe for hot beverages?
    Yes. NoTree® cups are designed for hot drinks like coffee, tea, and cocoa. For very hot fills, use sleeves or double-cup as needed.
    Are these microwave or freezer safe?
    Not recommended for microwave use. Short-term refrigeration is typically fine; freezing is not advised. Always test for your specific use.
    Do the cups or lids contain plastic?
    NoTree® cups use a bio-based lining (not traditional plastic). Lids are available in fiber and other compostable materials—see individual listings.
    What certifications should I look for?
    Look for BPI certification and references to ASTM D6400/D6868 standards on each product page to confirm commercial compostability.
